Success! Solid Rock International’s Dominican nonprofit partner, ACPSI, has officially received a container that was sent from the States via SRI TAX FREE for the first time in the clinic’s 30 year history!

After a lot of very hard work regarding tax exoneration, ACPSI was finally able to receive a container that arrived last month without having to pay the standard 38-40% import tax. This is an extremely important step for the REVOLUTION project because many more containers are scheduled to be sent as we move forward with construction as well as outfitting the facility with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment. Saving and stretching funds has been at the forefront of planning and we praise God for this recent success!

Going forward, Dominican law requires that the process is repeated for each and every future shipment. While the understanding is that after receiving this first approval, the next requests should be approved as well, but please continue to keep this important step in your ongoing prayers.
