On March 28th 2023, a group of over 300 gathered in front of the new clinic in San Juan de la Maguana to publicly dedicate the facility to God. Approximately 100 present represented SRI, making up the largest group in SRI history! Among this group were board members, project donors, mission trip volunteers, staff, and more. The ceremony itself included music proclaiming God’s faithfulness, stories of the past, moments to honor founders, and encouraging words from both Dominican and North American perspectives. In the days leading up to the dedication ceremony, the team of SRI travelers enjoyed many meals, worshipped together, and toured the CCED school, old clinic, and new clinic. The final event for the group was the dedication ceremony itself, which was a beautiful celebration of the past, present, and future for the Christian Clinic for Integral Health.
