That’s it! $105,131 is all we need to begin construction on our most exciting project yet, a REVOLUTIONARY new clinic in San Juan de la Maguana! If you have not yet made your pledge or donation, now is the time to act! As soon as we have secured $2 million, groundbreaking will follow shortly. After that, we will need an additional $1 million to outfit the building. This is a very important time in the campaign. Solid Rock International Board of Directors
On Saturday, April 26th, the Solid Rock International Board of Directors met for their semi-annual in-person meeting at First Presbyterian Church in Gainesville, Georgia. The Board regularly meets once a month via teleconference, with two meetings each year at various locations throughout the country. In total, there are currently 17 members with a variety of professional background and experience. The Board had an exciting meeting as plans continue to move forward with the REVOLUTION project. Solid Rock is proud to say that we have 100% financial commitment to the REVOLUTION campaign from all Board members and from all North American Solid Rock staff! We are privileged to have such a hardworking group overseeing our programs, ministries, and projects!
The REVOLUTION Tour
Two more stops were made in the REVOLUTION Tour this past month. Executive Director, Joe Zimmerman, along with Director of Development, Shannon Zimmerman, and Program Coordinator, Kate Zimmerman all traveled for presentations and REVOLUTION updates to both Archbold, Ohio and Peoria, Illinois. In Archbold, several guests of honor were in attendance and recognized for their important roles in Solid Rock history. This group included Dr. Jim Diller, Rosanna Rodriguez, Deloris Shaffer, Dorothy VanVleet, and Ruth Zimmerman. Thank you to all who attended!
