The dream of a REVOLUTION and a new building for the Christian Clinic for Integrated Health is spreading quickly and we’re so thankful for all who have supported the project! Construction has been moving along and the daily progress is exciting!

The current areas of focus are to compact the land to have a solid foundation for the building as well as the perimeter wall. Did you know the wall will have as many blocks as the actual building?! To a North American that might sound strange to invest so much in that portion of the project, but in the Dominican Republic, a wall is very customary and is a necessity for privacy and security. We are so grateful for our North American teams who have come to work on the project so far. These volunteers work long hours in the hot tropical sun alongside our experienced Dominican team. It’s been incredible to see the daily changes that are happening on the land. The land compaction is quite the process! Did you know you can get involved with this phase of the construction without leaving home? Our current need is for truck sponsorships to help with the cost of land compaction. Just $98 will cover the price for one truck in the process of excavation, transportation, dumping, and compaction of the fill. In total, the compaction will require 2,160 truckloads to complete the foundation preparation. Thank you to all who have sponsored 17 trucks during our first week! There are still three more weeks to sponsor more so please consider participating in this easy way to be involved!

There are many ways to get involved with the REVOLUTION! Please consider the following options for how you can make a difference in the lives of the poor in the Dominican Republic:

1. PRAY – We covet your prayers for this project! Pray for the safety of construction teams on the job site and for our ongoing financial needs to complete the budget. Pray for the lives that will be touched for years to come and ask that God will use the clinic as an incredible tool to reach and help the lost in the San Juan region.
2. SERVE – Join a construction team! Lead a construction team! We have a great need for laborers right now and would love to have you and your friends, family, church, and co-workers get some hands-on involvement! Learn more about the mission experience HERE!
3. SHARE – Help spread the word! If you believe in the importance of the REVOLUTION, please share it with your friends and family! Social media is a great way to do this.
