The clinic continues to offer more services to the community each month. One of the new additions is the ability for patients to contact the Christian Clinic for Integral Health (CCSI) via WhatsApp. This makes it easy for people to share the contact information, and for patients to seek assistance at any moment. WhatsApp is used nationwide in the Dominican Republic. This is also the platform that Solid Rock International uses to promote medical specialities.

Rick Roth first came to San Juan in 1998 after the flooding from Hurricane George. He and a small group of men came to try to repair the clinic’s generators. Rick returned to San Juan with North Clinton Church (Wauseon, OH) in July 2024. The team took a tour of the new clinic, and it was a very emotional experience for Rick as he remembered the feelings of hopelessness after the flood in 1998, to now seeing the new clinic up and running. This was truly a full circle moment. We have heard of the impact the new facility has had on the community itself, but it is also a testament of faith to the many individuals who have donated time and resources to help this dream become a reality.
