We are excited to share that a generous donor has recently purchased an ambulance for the new clinic! Arrangements are being made to ship the vehicle from the States to the Dominican Republic to be used in support of the clinic’s desire to provide emergency care. The goal is for the new facility to be able to offer a 24 hour stabilization before sending patients to the capital as needed for more advanced medical care. Such a service does not currently exist in the region of San Juan and the clinic is eager to be able to provide this for the community.

In 2015, the clinic offered a Paramedic Education Program to begin the process of training up staff for the new services it plans to offer. We are excited for what the future holds and thank God for this unique way we can bless the people of San Juan de la Maguana and beyond!
